These are the untreated fruits of a pine tree, probably the species Pinus sylvestris. The cones are a rustic decoration which is naturally variable with inherent imperfections, randomly supplied as a bulk pack of fifty. Smaller pack sizes are available in a separate listing. Not for food use.

These pine cones were collected in the UK from British grown trees whereas most of the commercially available pine cones are imported. These have a lower carbon footprint and also support local tradespeople.
