These dried wheat bunches are in natural shades of harvest gold, sand and light brown, and have the botanical name Triticum. This large UK dry wheat bunch is about 60cm long and very roughly 50 stems, about 5cm diameter at the waist. These corn stems are simply tied with elastic.
The bunches have been harvested after turning a natural golden brown when ripening in the sun in the field. This makes the heads heavier and the stems more brittle than our green wheat, but great for seasonal and harvest displays and arrangements.

These wheat stalks are sourced from UK growers and are great for country crafts and decorations, or buy a few to make your own free-standing wheat sheaf or corn stook. Not for food use.
