Cedar roses and dried lavender are both thought to be useful as moth repellents, particularly clothes moth which can be a big problem in modern households. We have combined our popular lavender potpourri with scented cedar roses. Both items are enhanced with natural essential oils in our Sussex workshop. We've combined a few handfuls of lavender potpourri with five cedar roses in a large organza bag. The sheer fabric bag is white and approx 15cm by 20cm with matching ribbon drawstrings which can be used as a hanging loop.

The oils shown are available separately. To use as a moth repellent, place in enclosed spaces such as drawers or cupboards. They won't kill moths or eradicate existing moth problems, but they might deter them, so it's best to clean the area thoroughly before use. The oil may mark textiles so avoid contact with precious fabrics. For the best effect, refresh with essential oils every few weeks by adding one drop of cedarwood oil per cedar rose and allowing to soak in. The lavender can be simply squeezed to release more fragrance. Buy lavender essential oil.
