Scented Cedar Roses bag - with added Cedarwood essential oil
Cedar roses are thought to be useful as a moth repellent. Believed to be good for keeping clothes moths at bay, we have added cedarwood essential oil for this purpose. We have put three in a little white sheer fabric bag approx 9cm by 12cm for ease of use. The little natural cedarwood cones are very pretty and can also be used for home decor or to decorate potpourri. Each natural cone is about 3 to 8 cm across. The wood roses are not for food use.
The bag shown contains three scented woodroses. The oil shown is available separately. To use as a moth repellent, place in enclosed spaces such as drawers or cupboards. They won't kill moths or eradicate existing moth problems, but they might deter them, so it's best to clean the area thoroughly before use. The oil may mark textiles so avoid contact with precious fabrics. This organza bag can be hung up by the ribbon drawstrings. For the best effect, refresh the cedar roses every few weeks by adding one drop of oil and allowing to soak in.
The cedar roses were scented by us in Sussex. Other scented products include lavender potpourri which is also thought to be a moth repellent.
