Dry cornflower petals for weddings and home crafts. Cornflower used to be a common wildflower in the UK, growing alongside arable crops. It's botanical name is Centaurea cyanus and this cultivated variety is a beautiful pale blue / mauve. This listing is for the petals of the cornflower only, not the cheaper whole heads.
The colour is natural not dyed and comes in mixed shades of lilac, lavender, pale blue and cream. Cornflower petals are beautiful as a touch of colour in confetti, potpourri (no natural scent), and soap making. Various pack sizes. Bags of cornflower petals naturally contain a little dust and loose petal fibres. Not for food use.
