A framed sprig of tiny purple pressed Lavender, botanical name Lavandula angustifolia. This English Lavender is a traditional cottage garden flower. Lavender flowers are symbolic of purity (due to their associations with cleanliness) and serenity (due to their calming properties), making a beautiful gift of affection. These UK pressed flowers are 100% natural and were grown in Sussex. These framed flowers are a unique gift.
The see-through frame is made of brass and glass. The frame will show whatever background it is hung against - as you can see in the third and fourth pics. The metal hanging loop has a short length of velvet ribbon attached for convenience. The frame opens at the top via a small metal bolt.
Dimensions: 13cm long including ribbon hanger. Brass frame 4.8cm wide, length: 7.2cm including metal loop, height: 0.7cm.
How to display your framed Lavender flowers
The flowers are held between two pieces of glass which can be opened via the bolt. We don't recommend opening the frame unless you plan to change the flowers, as the are simply held in place by a couple of tiny dots of acid-free glue.
For best colour preservation display out of direct sunlight.
Stunning displayed in a group - see our other framed pressed flowers.
