Red Cornflower petals UK grown

Buy pressed Cornflower petals in dark red. Pack of 7 natural pressed flowers grown in the UK. This plant historically grew alongside cereal crops but is now a popular cottage garden flower, botanical name Centaurea cyanus.

Pressed flowers are popular for cardmaking, resin jewellery and other crafts. British pressed flowers are more sustainable than mass produced imported packs.

Each tiny cornflower petal is up to about 1cm across - see pic with 5 pence piece for scale. These petals were taken from dark red flowers that can sometimes be in shades of burgundy to dark pink. These British flowers are 100% natural and are often variable in shade, shape and size. Pressed petals can sometimes fade randomly over time to paler shades. Not for food use.
