Buy Pressed Viola with stem and leaf - UK grown

Buy pressed flowers of Viola in a choice of natural purple, yellow and bicolour. Pack of one UK pressed flower with attached stem and leaf for cards, herbariums, art and craft projects. Each dried flower is 5cm or more high but as you can see from the pics, the stem length varies quite a lot. The flower stem is natural green and bears one open flower and often a small side bud. Each open flower is approx 2cm across, and the entire plant is 4cm across or more. These British flowers are 100% natural, not dyed, and are often variable in shade, shape and size. Viola is a small Pansy flower which is a cottage garden favourite.

Not for food use.

These blooms were grown and preserved in the UK in our own workshops on the South Coast. The last two pics show the fresh flowers growing and cut, ready for pressing. This item is supplied loose (not affixed to a card) for use in your own projects and was inspired by traditional herbarium specimens. Herbariums are collections of botanical samples used for reference. There has been an influx of imported mass produced pressed flowers in the last few years. In order to illustrate the traceable sustainable nature of this handmade product (zero air miles!) we enclose collection data with this item, an example of which is shown in the image.
