Pressed fern fronds - Lady Fern and similar varieties

A little brass frame containing a real pressed fern leaf in natural green. These leaves are 100% natural and are often variable in shade, shape and size so may vary slightly from images shown. The botanical name of Lady fern is Athyrium filix-femina. This Sussex grown framed foliage is a unique gift.

The see-through frame is made of brass and glass. The frame will show whatever background it is hung against - as you can see in some of the pics. The metal hanging loop has a short length of velvet ribbon attached for convenience. The frame opens at the top via a small metal bolt.

Dimensions: 13cm long including ribbon hanger. Brass frame 4.8cm wide, length: 7.2cm including metal loop, height: 0.7cm.

How to display your framed Fern leaf

The leaf is held between two pieces of glass which can be opened via the bolt. We don't recommend opening the frame unless you plan to change the leaf, as the are simply held in place by a couple of tiny dots of acid-free glue.
For best colour preservation display out of direct sunlight.
