
Annual Delphiniums are an English cottage garden favourite and are also known as Larkspur or Consolida. These UK grown delphiniums are in shades of pale blue, cream and green. We've supplied 7 pieces of these flowers which we pressed in our Sussex workshop - enough for one card. There is one flower spike approximately the same height as the card and six smaller pieces being tiny buds, leaves or separate flowers. These flowers are 100% natural and so are always a little bit wonky and variable, and they may be in bud not in full flower. These cards are inspired by Victorian herbariums where pressed flowers were used for botanical science.
One high quality blank greetings card supplied - great for pressed flower projects because it is acid free and lignin free (meaning it won't bleach the flowers over time). The ivory card is made of 250gsm cardstock and measures 12.7cm x 17.8cm. The envelope is made of 100gsm paper and measures 13.4cm x 18.4cm.
