A pressed flower card handmade using UK grown Delphiniums

Annual Delphiniums are an English cottage garden favourite and are also known as Larkspur or Consolida. These UK grown delphiniums are in shades of mid to dark blue and we pressed them in our Sussex workshop. There is one flower spike laid diagonally across the card with leaf below. The pretty blue Larkspur flowers symbolise lightheartedness in the language of flowers. These cards are inspired by Victorian herbariums. These blooms are 100% natural and so are always a little bit variable, often with small imperfections, which is part of the charm. Handmade in Sussex. Handle with care especially when putting in and out of the envelope as some parts are inevitably delicate.

The ivory A6 card is made of 225gsm cardstock and measures 4 x 6 inches or 10.5cm x 14.8cm with matching envelope.
