This dried ornamental grass is elegant for home decor, just place a few in a tall or narrow necked vase. The botanical name of this increasingly popular natural decoration is Miscanthus sinensis and is sometimes known as Silvergrass. These feathery tufts are in natural shades of champagne and beige with a silvery tinge to the stems and foliage. The UK Miscanthus was grown by us in Sussex and dried by hanging upside down in our workshop (see pics). Ten stems supplied, just under 60 cm long. Each seed head takes up about a quarter to a third of the stem and is a few cm across. Limited availability. Reviews may refer to previous batches. Not for food use.
