Flax is also known as Linum - these dyed Teal seed pods add a colouful touch to floristry, particularly for wildflower, informal, rustic and cottage style bouquets and arrangements. The bunch we counted had about 30 branched stems and about 40cm long. Each little ball is up to about 1cm across.
Teal is a shade halfway between forest green and turquoise. The bunch has been dyed by dipping, leaving a few centimeters of natural stem at the bottom, shown in final image. Dyed bunches may not be colourfast in humid conditions. Not for food use.
