Buy dried Cardoon / Artichoke stems UK grown

Dried Cardoon heads are a type of decorative (not edible) Artichoke with an unusual large round flower bud making them interesting for floristry. Cardoons are a giant olive green thistle flower bud with subtle purple markings. The natural UK stems are very variable, with 3 to 5 heads supplied on one or more stems 10cm to 20cm long. You may wish to wire the stem onto a longer stick if using in mixed dried flower bouquets. Each head can vary between approx 2cm to 7cm across and are randomly supplied, occasionally with a bright purple tuft. Each photo shows one bunch. Sourced from a UK grower. Not for food use.
