Achillea filipendulina flowers dried - small* - UK grown
An Achillea dried flower bunch from our own Sussex workshop. Achillea is also known as Yarrow and this variety is Achillea filipendulinaCloth of Gold. The natural flat umbel shape of the flowers of these yellow dried flowers will add a horizontal element to your dried flower bouquet or arrangement. However, as you can see from the first two photos, the surface once dried is not always evenly flat. A bunch of golden yellow flowers with five unbranched stems tied simply with an elastic band.
*Each dry flower head is variable in size and about 3 to 7 cm across on a 55cm khaki stem. (The second image shows the smallest flower taken from the bunch shown - it's about 3cm across). These dried achillea flowers are naturally yellow not dyed and were sourced fresh from a UK grower before drying by us. The last two photos show this year's crop hanging upside down to dry alongside Amaranth. Limited availability. Not for food use.
